4 Diet Mistakes To Avoid
Some people never reach their goal of losing some weight or just become healthier. And this is not because they do something wrong or fail at some point of the process. This is because they just do not have the right attitude, not even knowing it.
There are 4 common reasons why most of us just do not get to the point of our ideal body:
1. Perfectionism
When aiming for the ideal body, you do not have to be ideal. We are all people and it is really impossible to be perfect. You CAN drink sodas, eat pizzas and chocolate - just not as often as before. Getting to your dream body is a gradual process - it does not work as all-or-nothing principle. You might face huge difficulties if starting a perfect lifestyle just one day - all at the same time. Big risk is that you might not keep up with the process for a long period and just quit - well, this costs too much: time, energy and disappointment. Quit the bad foods gradually, do not stress your body - start reducing one soda a day, or one hamburger in 3 days and so on. Stress is not good for the body nor the mind. Keep it slow and you will achieve the best results. Then you might become perfect!
2. Setting a non-realistic goal
Anything in life you would like to achieve, has to be realistic. This means, you should know or have the idea of how to achieve it. Lets, say, you want to reduce cellulite in 2 months, having massages, exercise and a healthy diet to help you. And you can have a list of all the actions to get done through the process - this is realistic. But if you set a goal to reduce cellulite and have a beautiful skin, say, in one week, let`s face it - you can only do it on the picture, using Photoshop. This is not impossible, I mean, you might have great results after one week of hard work on your body and skin, but I have not heard of anyone who had ever got rid of cellulite in that short amount of time. The same with weight loss, even worse - if you set a goal too high, and even if achieve it, you might get your weight back sooner than you got it lost. And with even worse side-effects: strech marks, stomach and similar problems.
3. Not seeing yourself beautiful
Just like everywhere - you have to believe you can do it. And see yourself slimmer, your skin firmer, and your whole body looking better. When looking at the mirror, see yourself beautiful, like you just achieved what you aimed for - this helps a lot. Human brains are magic - and there is a very strong connection between the brain and the body.
4. Short-term goals
When it comes to health, beautiful body and skin, there is nothing you can do temporarily to get long lasting results. It is necessary to understand that one step is to get to your dream body, and the other step is to maintain it. Nothing can be long lasting about your shape and health if you quit all your efforts right after achieving a goal.
Getting to lose cellulite or a few pounds is not a sacrifice for a period of time - and you do not have to feel like it. It`s a journey to a new you - and it is very interesting and fun. The goal does not end after finishing the forst step - it is perpetual.
Before setting a goal to have an ideal body, you also have to make a commitment to permanently become a new person - and yes, you definitely will..
