4 Reasons Why Exercise Is Hard Sometimes
Some days you feel like you are absolutely not ready for exercising. Your loved 5 pound hand weights seem to weight 20 pounds, and the road you are used to run every morning, seem to be 2 miles longer than usual. Why is it so? Here are some reasons, and ways to avoid this.
1. Overtraining
If you worked too hard on exercising yesterday, today you might feel the side-effect: you feel weak and not ready for workouts. You should rest for some time or reduce the workout intensity. Do not overtrain again with too hard exercise series.
2. Feeling sleepy
Lack of sleep can be obvious when starting your workout - you just feel like you do not have enough energy for that. You should sleep at least 7 or 8 hours a night, and even more after harder and more intense exercises - the body needs to get enough rest.
3. Skipped lunch
Food gives energy to our brain and body, you get weak as soon as energy is not enough. If you did not get the chance to have lunch, be sure to eat some fruits or healthy snacks before going to the gym or starting your workout. Remember, it is recommended not to have meals at least one hour before training.
4. Too much stress
Although exercise reduces stress, too much stress can be the reason why you do not feel like exercising some days. You might feel tired because of stress, but just worrying about it will not make the situation better. Get on a trainer that does not require your concentration: a treadmill, a bike or similar, to reduce stress levels and get your body in shape.
