Reduce Cellulite While Taking a Contrast Shower
Yes, you guessed it - just like that! It seems simple at first, and it really is - but not for the first time. Of course, you will not get rid of cellulite just because you are taking regular contrast showers. But they will definitely make the skin firmer, softer and healthier!
Here is how it works:
Contrast shower works similar to massage: it just touches under the skin layers differently and more deeply than regular
massage.
Here is how to do it:
While taking a shower in the morning or at night, after washing your body and just before turning off the water, turn the cold water to flow for about 20 seconds. It does not have to be very cold - try first with a little bit colder than room temperature drinking water.
After about that time turn on normal warm water, also for 20 seconds. Feels so good, right?
Repeat the process 3 times and finish with the cold water.
It is not a very pleasant activity to do, of course, but after a contrast shower you will notice that the skin becomes a little bit firmer just after the first time. In a week you will get used to cold water and really notice your skin got firmer and better looking.
After the contrast shower, apply body oil or body lotion on the whole body. I recommend
Clarins Energizing Hydra-Wear Express Body Lotion or Clarins Body Treatment Oil-Tonic
. I Find these products super hydrating, they make the skin soft and smooth, helps prevent dehydration.
I noticed good results after a week of using a contrast shower.
Alternatives:
If you live somewhere by the sea or lake, or any cold water pool, this is your contrast shower! Enjoy it every day and have a firmer skin!
